My name is Della Brown, and I am the author of Bad Penny, a mystery set in Cowtown USA, also known as Fort Worth, Texas.

If you haven’t heard of me or Bad Penny, my goal is to change that.

So who am I…and what am I about?

I write stories featuring grown women with grown-people problems.

I created the Bad Penny Mysteries to show that a bad reputation can lead to a good woman.

I am a native Texan with deep roots throughout the state. I love BBQ and Tex-Mex and wide, open spaces. I live in the D/FW area with my husband and our fur babies; a cool tuxedo cat named Clyde and his all-black, hyperactive, bratty little sister named Buster.
